February 12th

Second day in Utah!

1/2 medifast w/1/2 cup black coffee

Breakfast
  • On the Go Low fat cottage cheese (90 cal)
  • Packet of Trader Joe's plain flaxseed oatmeal (170 cal)
  • 1/2 cup blueberries and strawberries

Snack
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter-packed my almond butter in these great containers from Smart and Final
  • Tru Chocolate

Lunch
  • 1/4 of Dan's Greek Salad, but I just my own dressing on that I brought
  • Wrap- La Tortilla Factory tomato basil wrap, 20z turkey, light string cheese, italian dressing, spring mix

Snack
  • 2/3 cup puffins w/ 13 raw almonds
  • apple
  • tru chocolate
  • took one of those cups for condiments for a small scoop of trail mix

Dinner
Salad- so happy I packed my salad - I mixed the romain, spring mix, and spinach together in one bag
added some veggies on top w/ italian dressing


Packed these Campbells Select Harvest soups for dinner
Tortilla soup- so good w/ TJ mulitgrain chips
Perfect to pack for this trip- just warm up in the microwave. Glad I packed this because everyone else in my family had McDonald's- after that Super Size Me movie, I don't even think I can bring my self to eat their salads.
I sampled a few of these soups to see which one is the best. I compared the healthy request because it has less sodium, but tasted so bad. The Select Harvest soup tastes great!

Dessert
Homemade oatmeal bar (125 cal) - from the newsletter's recipe of the week
