Remember, typically during the middle of the week before "that time of the month" it is normal to see the scale jump up anywhere from 3-5 pounds, sometimes even 7 pounds higher due to water retention. Also, if you go out to eat or have foods that are higher in sodium the scale will also be higher. To help get rid of the bloat and water weight, I recommend having natural diuretics like hot lemon water, green tea, parsley, foods with lots of water (like celery, watermelon, etc.), and unsweetened cranberry juice diluted with water. Drinking a lot of water also helps to decrease water retention.
