August 31st

Breakfast
  • Tomato Basil La Tortilla Factory Tortilla - warmed up
  • 1/2 cup egg whites
  • 120g sauteed Zucchini
  • 3 oz steamed broccoli 
  • 2 Tbsp fat free cottage cheese 
Total Calories = 268



After breakfast, I packed a cooler with food Dan and I for the day, since I knew we were going to be gone all day.  

Lunch
Apple with Fage Total Zero Greek Yogurt

My husband ate most of my sandwich on accident!  He thought it was his sandwich.  
It was 2 slices of light whole wheat bread, 3 oz low sodium turkey, 1/2 light Swiss cheese, grilled on panini grill.  
Still hungry, since husband ate 1/2 my sandwich, luckily I packed more than enough food for the day in my cooler.  
Ezekiel tortilla with 1 tbsp fresh homemade peanut butter from the vita mix with 25g sliced bananas in between.  
Snack 
Protein & Fiber Water 
calories = 25

Snack/Dinner
Rosanne did more baking and brought me a delicious muffin made with carob chips, banana, and dried apple ~ 120 calories  
Salad- Only had 1/4 of this salad, since I was full.  I saved the rest of this for dinner when I got home.  
  • 3oz tuna
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 cups Romain lettuce
  • 1/2 Roma tomato
  • 3 oz green beans
  • dressing - (1 tsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard, 1/2 tsp white wine vinegar, pepper)
calories = 235

Snack 
2/3 cup cinnamon puffins w/ 10 raw almonds
calories= 170

Snack
2 cups Smart Balance Light Popcorn
50 calories

Dessert
Shared 1/2 a peach with my husband.  Peach from whole foods was so good.  

Still hungry.... I had high fiber cereal with fruit
  •  3/4 cup bran mixed 
  • 1/4 cup Kashi Go Lean, 
  • 1/4 cup skim milk, 
  • 1/4 cup blueberries,
  • 1 strawberry. 
  •  I also took 10 dark chocolate chips from my husbands bowl of bran cereal with choc. chips.
