Focus on what to add
Make sure as you focus on eating healthy and taking care of your body that your focus stays on what you need to add not what to cut out. When you are adding whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean protein, low fat dairy, and lots of water it keeps you feeling full, satisfied, and full of energy. Try to get in at least 25-35 grams of fiber a day. Eating fresh fruit, vegetables, whole-grain breads and cereals are an easy way to get the recommended amount of fiber. High-fiber carbs are the key to losing weight without feeling like you are starving and they increase your energy level.
