Great Breakfast to Start the Day - Started with Hot Lemon water & Cranberry Cocktail
  • 1/2 Cup Trader Joe's Greek Total Zero Yogurt with 1/2 small banana
  • 1/2 Ezekiel English muffin toasted with 1 tsp Almond Butter
  • 1/2 cup reddi eggs with 1 cup spinach, 1/2 cup red, yellow, & orange peppers, 1 clove garlic

Lightful Shake (packed in cooler to take with me)



New Favorite Restaurant- Tender Greens located in Point Loma (UTC Marketplace- near Trader Joe's/Starbucks/Sammy's Pizza) Dan and I went with Rosanne & Steve after the Rock service. Menu is full of Salads!!!! You can even watch them make it. Great place to go for lunch after church if you go to or check out the Rock. http://www.therocksandiego.com/My husband even liked this place. Had the grilled vegetable salad with seared Ahi and ~2 oz grilled chicken, no cheese, and dressing on the side. I'll plan a trip here if any one wants to go after the September classes grocery store trip. I'll bring their business cards and the menu to boot camp class for you to check out.

Testing out the new Panini grill. Umm... think I needed to spray the grill before putting the veggie burger on it. It is not suppose to look a mess like that, but it got stuck to the grill. Still tastes good. Excited to try new recipes on this.
Grilled Vegetable Burger with Extra Vegetables
1 Vegetable kabob from Trader Joe's (onion, red & green pepper, zucchini, squash, mushroom) Calories= 60
Dr. Praeger's California Vegetable Burger. Calories = 110

1/2 Zen Carrot Cake Muffin w/ 1 tsp Organic Light Whipped Cream Cheese. Calories= 120
