August 2nd

Love to have an apple a day! Easy snack to grab and go while I'm running around. Calories = 80
Tofu Mushroom Squash and Zucchini w/ Spaghetti Sauce - 3 oz firm tofu seared in pan with Italian seasoning, 1 cup mixed zucchini and yellow squash, 2 mushrooms, 1 spray olive oil, 1 clove garlic, 1/2 cup Classico spinach and garlic spaghetti sauce. Calories = 199
Plus, the rest of Rosanne's muffin that I took a bite of before boot camp.

If you like carrot cake, you should get these Zen Carrot Cake Muffins from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. They are jumbo and I could eat them all day, so I cut them in 1/2 and wrap in saran wrap and put in a gallon size bag. Great tip to help with portion control and makes them easy to grab if you are in a hurry.

They are from the Zen Bakery- full of fiber and healthy ingredients.

1/2 of the Zen Carrot Cake Muffin. Calories= 110

Going out, so I packed my dinner to go and wrapped my sandwich in foil. Good thing because all they had was nachos and burgers I would have been SOL and starving.
Celery with Light Laughing Cow
2 Celery sticks with 1/2 wedge light laughing cow cheese.
Grilled Turkey and Avocado Sandwich
1/2 Ezekiel English muffin toasted with 2 oz. grilled low sodium turkey, 1/8 oz avocado, lettuce, tomato, and 1/2 wedge laughing cow cheese. Calories for sandwich = 159.5

1/2 cup of strawberries. Calories =22.5
Bran Flakes and Dark Chocolate Ca Supplement
2 tablespoons Nature's Path Bran Flakes with crushed up Dark Chocolate Adora Calcium Supplement (found at Whole Foods). Calories = 48
