Put it all on the table to show you. Threw it in my cooler and ran out the door. A little bit of prep work goes a long way and is well worth it to give me energy throughout the day, fuel my workouts, and keep me fitting in my favorite paige premium Capri's.
All this for 1,238.5 calories. Planning on having dinner at home- Shitaki tofu noodles w/ spaghetti sauce and veggies = 123 calories
Total calories for the day= 1,382.5 (unless I get hungry, I will add more)
To pack my food fast- I already grilled the salmon yesterday, grilled the asparagus on the panini grill this morning (took no time), yogurt - already packaged, berries already washed, and measuring cup stays in the puffins box.
This looks fantastic!! I am getting so many great ideas from you - thanks!
ReplyDeleteIs that sort of like a salmon burger you have sitting on top of your salad? It looked like a turkey burger, but you mentioned salmon. Also, where did you get that little bottle to hold your salad dressing? I have a mini tupperware thing, but it constantly leaks all over the place!
What is your cottage cheese sitting on?
What a healthy, voluminous yet low-calorie day of food! :)
Miss Jess! I could eat all this in one sitting! Just kidding!! Your blog ROCKS! --JA
ReplyDeleteHayley- Yes, that is the salmon burger from Trader Joes = 110 calories. I actually like them better cold and they make a great snack or on top of my salad.
ReplyDeleteThat little bottle is the best ever!!! I have a variety of sizes and I love them because they DON'T LEAK! You can find them at the Container Store.
My cottage cheese is onto of my Egg whites, spinach, peppers, and one clove of garlic. I will post the details of amounts and everything in that pic at the end of the day. Still taking pictures of each item as I eat them, but I like to post them all at one time.
Jenn- You are so funny. Thanks for being my blog supporter!
wow i have to say i'm impressed. i am having a tough time with volume vs. calories. i am aiming for 1200-1400 (I am 5' 7" 137 lbs and want to lose 7 more lbs) and it is hard to get good volume with that amount, but it looks like you do a GREAT job! nice work.
