September 4th

Pre-workout breakfast
Grab-n-Go- Bananas are great for that. Plus, good carbs and sugar for boot camp.

Post-workout Breakfast
New favorite- I love the La Tortilla Factory Tomato Basil Tortillas
Had the classic breakfast I love in order to get veggies in early on as well as protein to refuel post-boot camp.  Keeps me full!  Total 227 calories
  • 3/4 cup reddi eggs
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup peppers
  • 2 Tbsp FF cottage cheese
  • Tomato Basil Tortilla warmed up on the side to make mini wraps
  • I also had 1/2 light string cheese
Snack
Chocolate Lightful Shake with 30g banana
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 chocolate lightful
  • 30g banana
  • Blended in Vitamix
If I can I love to add ice and blend the lightful shakes.  I get twice as much with no added calories.  I also like these to-go cups from Smart & Final (they have lids, but I got the wrong size-need to buy more)  Even though it is not "green", I love these because I can just throw the cup away while I'm out running around.
Lunch
Wrap (213.5 calories)
  • Tomato Basil La Tortilla Factory Tortilla
  • 2 oz low sodium turkey
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 tbsp tomato basil hummus
  • 3 light laughing cow cheese squares

Snack
Protein & Fiber H2O (25 calories)
I mix 20oz water with one packet and keep diluting it with water for poor some in my water bottle and sip all afternoon.

Snack
My comfort food- I love Multigrain Light English Muffin with 1 Tbsp PB and an apple
Great combination!
More Snacks
More PB!  Celery with 1 Tbsp PB
110 calories
Snack
2/3 cup Cinnamon Puffins w/ 10 raw almonds
170 calories
Dinner
Great, Fast, & Easy Dinner (I made this in the morning and packed in my cooler for after boot camp)
  • 1/2 cup brown rice (organic brown rice fm TJ- green box)
  • 1 cup sauted zucchini w/ 1/2 spray olive oil
  • 1/3 cup steamed peas
  • 3 oz chicken (Frozen Just Chicken fm TJ)
Super stressful day.  I'm so glad that I packed all my food for the day in the morning in my cooler.  So, even though I was busy all day I still was able to eat well and get my vegetables in.
