September 6th

Pre-Workout Breakfast


Post-Workout Breakfast- brought Zen muffins, bananas, apple slices, and almond butter for the last day of boot camp.  Had 1/2 a zen muffin, but it was so good I had two more.  




Lunch (283.5 calories)
  • 60 grams grilled sweet potato slices
  • Portabella mushroom boca burger (2 portabella mushrooms, flame grilled boca burger, lettuce, tomato, 1/2 slice lite swiss cheese, 1 Tbsp TJ BBQ sauce)
  • Berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries & black berries) 
Using the mushrooms for the bun cuts back on a lot of calories and is a great way to add in more vegetables.  
I also love these new little bowls that I put my BBQ sauce in!  I found them at Cost Plus for .99 cents.  


Snack
Fage total zero yogurt w/ apple (160 calories)
I know this may sound gross, but I love these two snacks combined, so when I can't cut up the apple to dip in the yogurt, I take a bit of the apple and spit it out into the yogurt and eat it with my spoon.  

Snack
2/3 cup cinnamon puffins w/ 10 raw almonds (170 calories)

Dinner (258 calories total) 
Easy Salad (98 cal)
  • 2 cup Romain, tomato, 1 oz avocado, balsamic vinegar
Shiritaki Tofu Noodle Spaghetti (all this for only 125 calories) 
  • one package shiritaki tofu noodles (found in tofu section- the whole bag is only 40 calories)
  • 1/2 classico spaghetti sauce
  • 98 g sauteed zucchini
  • garlic 
  • 1/2 spray olive oil with Italian seasoning
Berries for dessert (35 cal)
Dessert
Realized I didn't have any Pb today, but then it made me want some.
Had small la tortilla with 1 tbsp pb and 20g banana
157 calories
Another Snack
Still hungry- had 1/4 cup bran and Kashi Go Lean with another la tortilla factory 50 cal tortilla with 1 tbsp pb (180 cal)
