Traveling to Vegas

Of course, I packed a cooler full of food to take with us, which is the nice thing about driving.  It was a hassle having to get up early to prepare some of the food that I didn't already have ready the night before, but it was well worth it to still have feel good healthy food to take with me.
We left for Vegas at 4:00am, so I had my breakfast in the car.
  • 2 hard boiled eggs (had egg whites)
  • 1 cup cantaloupe/ 1/2 cup strawberries/1/4 cup blueberries
Oh my gosh!!!!  I'm so excited about these two things.  Starbucks started carrying Justin's 100 calorie pack of Almond butter.  They also have oatmeal now.  However, when you add up all the little packages for the oatmeal, it adds up quick.  So, I had the oatmeal without the toppings, and instead I had it with the 100k pack of almond butter, and a banana I had packed with me.  Perfect breakfast, just like I like to have at home.  This was an exciting morning.  I bought some of the almond butter packs to take with me.

Pro2O- great to add some flavor to my water, protein, and fiber.
Luckily, my husband doesn't minds stopping all the time to let me go to the bathroom.

Out to dinner- I ordered a side salad to go with my entree instead of mashed potatoes.  Had Italian dressing on the side.
So, disappointed with dinner.  I ordered grilled salmon with steamed vegetables and requested no oil or butter, but it came drenched in oil. It didn't even taste good.  Only had about 1/2 of salmon and veggies.
