Lunch - after I made this I wasn't really hungry, so I wrapped it up and saved it for later.
Large salad (romain lettuce, carrots, peppers, tomato, and celery w/ italian dressing)
1/2 sandwich (1 slice toasted ww bread, 2oz low sodium turkey, 1/2 wedge light laughing cow cheese, mustard)

Snack
La tortilla factory tortilla w/ Pb
Knew we were having lasagna for dinner, but wasn't sure if they would one without meat, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't so hungry and stuff with just a eating the bread and salad.

Appetizers-
I should have saved my wrap for a little closer to dinner, instead of waiting so long without eating before the party. I had carrots, celery, broccoli, one bite bread, and some mixed nuts.
I had one more plate like this minus the bread. Umm..now I remember why I try to avoid the salted mixed nuts, they are so addicting.

Christmas Eve Dinner
Sorry it is so dark. I took the flash off so I could take a quick picture without anyone noticing. All my family knows I'm doing this blog for the class, but I didn't want to have to explain it to everyone else that way there. It was so funny though because at the end of dinner Jamie shouted across the table and asked if I took a picture of her meal.
My sister in-law, Jamie, is great! She made a mixed salad from one of the kits from Costco, but let me take some dry salad for my plate before she added all the dressing and fixings. I just added some spray balsamic dressing from her frig that is only 10 calories for 10 sprays. So happy I got to do this. She even made a really good spinach lasagna in addition to the lasagna with meat.
I had a slice of bread, spinach lasagna, and salad. I try to avoid white processed carbs, but since I sliced it for her before dinner, it just looked so good, plus I was able to see the calories of it from the bag. Thanks so much Jamie!
I definately don't expect anyone to cater to me or to make anything different for me I can always find something to put together. I really appreciate how thoughtful and understanding a lot of people are to making or having healthy options available.

It was so funny the other night Dan was on the phone making plans to go over to our friends house for dinners and I heard him say to my husband what he was going to make and that "it is healthy". Again, I don't expect anyone to do anything different, but I really do appreciate it. I can be so hard not to offend anyone especally during this time of year with more social events and parties, but when people just know that you like and choose to eat healthy it makes it so much easier.
