Turkey Chili Recipe

Hi Ladies,

Here is the recipe for the delicious turkey chili that you were able to try at the nutritional seminar. I hope that you enjoyed it!


Turkey Chili

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 3 cups okra
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 28oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup various peppers
  • 2 sprays olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp fresh chopped oregano
  • pepper

Directions:

  • Brown the turkey
  • Add in vegetables, olive oil, and garlic
  • Add in remaining indredients
  • Simmer for 20-30 min

You can also top with greek yogurt, light cheese, or hot sauce. One bowl meals like this make lunch or dinner easy. I divided the chili up into individual pyrex containers, so it is easy to just warm up. I modified this recipe from katheats.com.
