First Day 411 :)

Hi Ladies,

Welcome to the first week of class!   I'm excited to see all the returning ladies and getting to know all the new recruits.

  What to bring to Class
1. A mat or a large beach towel
2. Water
3. Pen
4. One set of 5# Dumbbells

What to expect for the first day
Amazing workout and important info to get the best results.
Returning girls- There is no fitness assessment, but your progress in class will be measured so you will know you are improving.

I start right on time, so arrive early.  Make sure you are at the right location and know where the class is held.

What to Wear
  Running shoes and supportive sports bras are a must. Workout clothes and sometimes it is chilly in the morning, so you might want something to keep warm with before we workout.  We will cover this more on the first day.

What to Eat
We will cover this more on the first day, but make sure you don't come on an empty stomach which can lead to low blood sugar and passing out can really hinder your workout time.
On the other hand, be careful about eating too much, which can cause cramps.  Too much fiber and protein takes a long time to digest and steels all your energy to digest your food instead of using that energy to move your muscles.  We will cover this more in class, but if you need ideas check out the blog for pre-workout breakfast ideas.  A small amount of complex carbs and protein is a good combination.

Class Times & Locations

We start right on time, so please arrive early.

Class #1- There is another class that meets at the same time. If you are new to class, we will meet by the picnic tables to the left of the bleachers.  If there are men in the group, then you are with the wrong class.
